Texas Trash Dip
This warm, cheesy, and irresistible Texas Trash Dip is packed with bold Tex-Mex flavors! It’s the perfect dip for parties, game days, and family gatherings. Made with creamy refried beans, gooey melted cheese, and a kick of taco seasoning, this baked bean dip will be the highlight of your snack table!
Ingredients:
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 (16 oz) can refried beans (for a creamy, protein-packed base!)
1 (1 oz) packet taco seasoning mix (adds bold, zesty flavor!)
2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
1 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese (for extra cheesy spice!)
1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies, drained (adds a mild heat & flavor boost!)
Optional: 1 lb cooked and drained ground beef (for a hearty, meaty touch!)
Toppings: Sliced green onions, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, jalapeño slices
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, and taco seasoning until smooth.
Stir in 1 cup of Mexican blend cheese, all of the Pepper Jack cheese, and diced green chilies. Mix well. Add cooked ground beef if using.
Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Top with remaining 1 cup of Mexican blend cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until hot, bubbly, and the cheese is melted to perfection!
Garnish with green onions, tomatoes, cilantro, or jalapeños.
Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies for the ultimate dipping experience!
